M4.7 earthquake strikes southwest China's Sichuan province

The epicenter was monitored at 28.33 degrees north latitude and 104.98 degrees east longitude. The earthquake struck at a depth of 5 km, the center said.
Earlier, it was reported at least 37 people were injured after a 5.9-magnitude earthquake struck eastern Japan early Sunday morning.
