M2-3 tremors felt in Kazakhstan’s south

Earth tremors were recorded today in Taraz, Turkistan, Shymkent and dozens of other settlements of Kazakhstan at 09:23 am, Kazinform News Agency reports.
According to the Seismic Stations Network of the Ministry of Emergencies, the epicenter of the quake was in the territory of Tajikistan, 673 kilometers southwest of Almaty.
As it was reported, M6.1 quake hit Afghanistan-Tajikistan border region today morning.
