Lord Mayor of London comes to Nazarbayev University

He took part in the unveiling ceremony of BG Library at the Center of Energy Research and met with reps of the NU's School of Engineering, University's press release reads.

President of the Nazarbayev University Shigeo Katsu was also in attendance. In his speech Mr Katsu especially stressed that two British universities - University College London and University of Cambridge were among NU's strategic partners. By the way, Lord Mayor of London is a graduate of the University of Cambridge.

"It is crucial to strengthen partner ties with Great Britain in the field of educational and science. Kazakhstan demonstrates great process in the development of innovations and new technologies. The NU's School of Engineering contributes to this process," A.D.Wootton stressed.
