Living wage in April totaled KZT 18,290 - Statistics Agency

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstan's subsistence minimum in April 2014 amounted to KZT 18,290, Statistics Agency of Kazakhstan reports.
"The subsistence minimum per capita, calculated on the basis of minimum standards of consumption of basic foodstuffs, in April 2014 compared with the previous month increased by 1.4%, and including April 2013 - by 6.5%. The share of the cost of meat and fish was 22.5%, milk, oil, fat products and eggs - 16.5%, fruit and vegetables - 11.3%, bread and cereal products - 7.6%, sugar, tea and spices - 2.1%", the Statistics Agency informed.
