Letters and telegrams of congratulations on the occasion of VII AEF and II World Anti-Crisis Conference come to Kazakh President

Astana Economic Forum was attended by over 10,000 delegates from 147 countries of the world. Members of the International Advisory Council - former Federal Chancellor of Austria Alfred Gusenbauer, former President of the European Commission, and former Italian Prime Minister Romano Prodi congratulated Nursultan Nazarbayev on holding the forum and noted that the event has gained widespread respect. Former Croatian President Stjepan Mesic pointed to the important role of Astana forum in the discussion of the most pressing socio-economic issues. Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations and Special Adviser of the United Nations Secretary-General for Timor-Leste Dr. Noeleen Heyzer noted that ‘the forum brought together modern thinkers to address the challenges facing the world today'. Under-Secretary-General and High Representative for the Least Developed Countries, Landlocked Developing Countries and Small Island Developing States Gyan Achariya drew attention to the promptness of the President's idea on holding Astana Economic Forum.
