Leaders of 25 states to attend Moscow celebrations of WW2 victory

MOSCOW. April 28. KAZINFORM Leaders of 25 countries will attend Moscow celebrations of the 65th anniversary of the victory in WW2, head of the Presidential Property Management Department Vladimir Kozhin told reporters on Tuesday; Kazinform refers to ITAR-TASS.

"The list may still enlarge, as negotiations continue. Some other countries have expressed their wish to take part in the festivities," he said, adding that the full list would be available on May 1-2.

British Prime Minister Gordon Brown and U.S. President Barack Obama will not come to Moscow, the same as the leaders of Ukraine and Belarus who would lead the celebrations in their home countries, Kozhin said.

The leaders of Bulgaria, Israel, China, Latvia, Mongolia, France, Croatia, Estonia and some other countries will take part in the Moscow events, he noted; Kazinform cites ITAR-TASS.
