Largest buried treasure discovered by archaeologists in South Kazakhstan

SHYMKENT. May 8. KAZINFORM - At the bottom of the old fort in the tandoor of Sairam was excavated a jug with silver coins accounting to 2600 pieces. Nearby there was a cache of gold products: bracelets, rings, earrings, and pendants.
Preliminary dating of silver coins is XV-XVI cc., gold jewelry - XIII-XVI cc. The excavation orks are being made by the Margulan Institute of Archaeology. Archaeologists have already called this discovery the biggest treasure of the entire epoch of independent Kazakhstan. Scientists believe that this finding will be the new details in the history of the formation of the Kazakh Khanate.
