Landfill for chemical waste disposal being established in Pavlodar region

ASTANA. July 25. KAZINFORM - A special site for disposal of chemical waste will be built in the Pavlodar region. The project is being implemented by "Pavlodar-reactive" LLP, which produces electrolytes for acid and alkaline batteries.
"The polygon will be located 80 kilometers from the regional center", the deputy director of the company Baurjan Makhmetov says. "We were given three acres of land, now the project is being coordinated with the specialized agencies. "
Currently, all reagents and chemicals from Pavlodar enterprises are taken to special landfills in Kostanai and Akmola regions.
