KZT 760 mln for attraction of young specialists to rural areas - Zhambyl oblast

As the region's akimat informs, KZT 540 mln are planned to be allotted for construction of housing for the young graduates. Last year the region's budget provided KZT 129.3 mln for young people's support, including KZT 115.5 mln - for accommodation, KZT 12.7 mln - for payment of allowances, and over KZT 1 mln - for study in colleges and universities.

It should be noted that the program covers specialists in education, healthcare and cultural spheres.

In 2008 the region's medical organizations hired 83 young specialists (49 of them - in rural areas). As for educational facilities, 299 young teachers were employed in this sphere (196 of them are working in rural areas) and four graduates - in cultural sector.

This year the region needs 154 medical workers, 100 teachers and 73 workers of culture.

In whole, as of Oct 16, 2009 343 young specialists were employed in oblast including 163 in rural areas.
