KZT 37.9 bln invested in economy of Almaty region in Q1

TALDYKORGAN. May 3. KAZINFORM /Sandugash Duissenova/ KZT 37.9 bln was invested in economy of Almaty region in the first quarter, 65.5 percent out of which are own funds of entrepreneurs, organizations and individual persons. Governor Serik Umbetov has announced at the session of the akimat (administration).
According to him, in accordance with the Program of Forced Industrial and Innovative Development it is necessary to implement 14 investment projects amounting to KZT 60.3 bln in the oblast. Two out of them are included in the national Industrialization Map, and 12 projects - in the regional one.
"This year it is crucial to launch eight facilities amounting to KZT 15.3 bln, including six - till July 1, and two - till the year-end", the Governor stated.
