KZT 300 billion envisaged for housing and utilities in Kazakhstan

URALSK. July 17. KAZINFORM /Gaissagali Yeraly/ - A sitting on the issues of implementation of the Concept and Complex Plan of Modernization and Development of the Housing and Utilities for 2010-2014 within the Road Map Program was held at the akimat of West-Kazakhstan region today with participation of Vice PM Serik Akhmetov. Representatives of West-Kazakhstan, Aktobe, Atyrau and Mangystau regions took part in the sitting.

As per the goals determined by the President, 4,800 projects to the amount of KZT 190 billion have been launched into realization. The most important part in this strategy allows to provide jobs for the population.

West Kazakhstan akim Baktykozha Izmukhambetov informed, KZT 4.2 billion of republican and local budgets has been spent to carry through 75 projects in the region, as a result 8,823 jobs have been created.

Another goal - the Concept and Complex Plan of modernization and development of the housing and utilities - envisages KZT 300 billion for the period from 2010 till 2014. On whole it is planned to start 800 projects and create 80,000 jobs.

The Road Map program has showed good results in the first six months, Vice-Minister of Labor and Social Protection of Population Birzhan Nurymbetov said. The project has provided employment for a big part of population.
