KZT 30 mln allocated for flood aftermath relief in Almaty region

ALMATY OBLAST. January 17. KAZINFORM /Sandugash Duissenova/ Additional KZT 135 mln was allocated for prevention of emergencies from residual budget. KZT 30 mln from the regional budget was directed to mitigation of the flood consequences, street cleaning and building of the coastal dam in Sharyn village of Uyghur municipality.
As the press service of the oblast akim (governor) informs, the residents of the flood-hit village are provided with charity support. Private entrepreneurs, residents of Uyghur municipality, public sector workers rendered assistance in the form of food, clothes, shoes, coal, firewood, cash funds amounting to more than KZT 3 mln.
