KZT 200 mln for student exchange program, Education Minister

ALMATY. April 22. KAZINFORM /Aigul Turysbekova/ "Kazakhstan for the first time sets to support publicly the basic world higher education trend - academic mobility. KZT 200 mln will be allocated this year," Education and Science Minister Bakytzhan Zhumagulov told at a press conference in Almaty.

Kazakhstan is the 47^th member of the Bologna process. In 2011 above 200 students of Kazakhstan will have a chance to study abroad about 6 months at any university of the world. First of all students of the national universities will leave abroad, regional universities will send their students to the national ones. In 5-7 years to come about 35,000 students will participate in the academic mobility program.
