KZT 1.5 bln allocated for project lending in Almaty region

TALDYKORGAN. January 6. KAZINFORM /Sandugash Duisenova/ 'Damu' Entrepreneurship Development Fund allocated KZT 1.5 bln for project lending of small and medium business in Almaty region; the regional administration for economy and budget planning said.
These funds have been completely used whereas 58 projects have been financed. 236 thousand people or 29 percent of working population are engaged in small and medium business. The volume of production has increased whereas budget revenue will be increased up to 7.1 percent (KZT 12 bln).
Following the results of 2009 the volume of retail sales will reach KZT 91.5.
