Kyzylorda region's emergencies H.Q. members leave for the Proton-M crash site
The Proton-M rocket has veered off course seconds after its launch from Kazakhstan's Baikonur space center early Tuesday, the press service of the region's Akimat reported. There were 600 tons of highly toxic heptyl, amyl and kerosene rocket fuels on board, according to Talgat Mussabayev, the head of Kazakhstan's space agency.
Krymbek Kusherbayev set a number of instructions during the meeting, in order to assess the damage for environment and people's health care.
A group of rescuers and representatives of the public bodies including deputy Governor of the region, special representative of the President of Kazakhstan at the Baikonur space center Rzakul Nurtayev and also members of the regional headquarters for disaster, management of preparation, civil defense, organization of prevention and liquidation of emergencies and natural disasters, organized by the relevant research areas flew out to the scene of the accident.
