Kyrgyzstani student wins bronze at Physics Olympiad in Iran

The Kyrgyz national team took part in the 54th International Physics Olympiad IPHO-2024 in Iran, Kabar reports.

The Ministry of Education reported that Bektur Baratali, an 11th grade student, won a bronze medal, and 10th-grade student Askar Moldokulov won a bronze medal, too. Askar Abdiev received a certificate of honor.

Baratali was trained by teacher Duyshon Satybaldiev, Askar Abdiev was trained by teachers Chintemir Sabyrov and Ulukbek Azhybaev.

The 54th International Physics Olympiad (IPhO) 2024 was held in the Islamic Republic of Iran from 21st July 2024 to 29th July 2024.

The International Physics Olympiad (IPhO) is an annual physics competition for high school students. It is one of the International Science Olympiads. The first IPhO was held in Warsaw, Poland in 1967.
