Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan strengthen co-op in field of healthcare
Minister of Health of Kyrgyzstan Alymkadyr Beishenaliev held a bilateral meeting with Deputy Minister of Health of Uzbekistan Davron Tahirov, Kabar reports.
The meeting was held within the framework of the 4th Meeting of Health Ministers of member countries of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), held in Azerbaijan, the Health Ministry of Kyrgyzstan said.
The sides discussed issues of strengthening interaction between the two countries in the health sector on the basis of the Cooperation Agreement between the Ministries of Health of Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan.
Special attention was paid to the exchange of experience in the field of transplantology, including treatment and training of specialists.
The ministries of the two countries expressed the intention to continue active cooperation in all these areas in order to improve the health of the populations of both countries.
Noteworthy, the UNDP and Kazakh Healthcare Ministry strengthened collaboration in digitalization.
