Kyrgyzstan's people need support on threshold of presidential elections - OSCE Sec Gen

He informed that during his visit to Kyrgyzstan it is planned to hold meetings with the country's leadership, representatives of international organizations and political forces of the country. The visit is aimed at promotion of ensuring fair and free elections in Kyrgyzstan.

"Now the situation in Kyrgyzstan is stable, but the presidential elections are conducted in the difficult time. The Kyrgyz state and people need support of all interested international sides for conducting the elections to the best advantage," Lamberto Zannier said.

"It is necessary to elaborate a climate of trust and an environment, which will be based on stability. Hence during the visit to Kyrgyzstan I will call upon all participants of the pre-election process and the country's population to be responsible," he emphasized.
