Kyrgyzstan presents its tourism potential at roadshow in Riyadh
A Tourism Roadshow was held in Riyadh on October 2, organized, by the Silk Way Travel company and the Al Jazeera Airways airline with the assistance of the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Kabar reports.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported that the event was opened by a welcoming speech by Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to Saudi Arabia Ulukbek Maripov, during which he noted that tourism for Kyrgyzstan plays an important role in the development of the country's economy, emphasizing that the main goal of the state is to create favorable conditions for the work of organizations and enterprises in the tourism industry, the formation of a modern legislative and regulatory framework that ensures the development of activities in this area.
As part of the Roadshow, the head of the Silk Way Travel company Myrzabekov gave a detailed presentation on the tourism potential of Kyrgyzstan, during which he also gave relevant answers to questions of interest in the tourism sector. 19 tourism companies took an active part in this event, which showed interest in further cooperation with Kyrgyz partners in the tourism sector.
As previously stated, Jalal-Abad city of Kyrgyzstan was announced as Turkic World Tourism Capital for 2025.
