Kyrgyzstan needs $377 million to implement road map for its Customs Union accession

BISHKEK. KAZINFORM - Russia will provide $200 million to Kyrgyzstan on non-refundable basis to finance implementation of the action plan of Kyrgyzstan's Customs Union accession roadmap and related activities, Economy Minister of Kyrgyzstan Temir Sariyev said at the press conference in Bishkek on May 30 outlining the results of the meeting of the Eurasian Economic Council, Kazinform has learnt from AKI Press.

"As you know we will require $377 million for implementation of the roadmap. Russia will provide $200 million to us, $55 million of the sum will be spent for reinforcement of customs borders. A big job is ahead on harmonization of our regulations," the Economy Minister said.
