Kyrgyzstan likely to set up its space agency

CHOLPON ATA. KAZINFORM "The Government of Kyrgyzstan debates establishment of a space agency under the National Science Academy," its president Abdygani Yerkebayev told the second international symposium on earth observations from space underway in Cholpon Ata.
"I hope years-long efforts of scientists in this regard will be successful and the results of our activity and the outcomes of the Issyk-Kul space forum will bring us closer to opening the Kyrgyz space agency," he added.
