Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan can join CU and Single Economic Space - EurAsEC Deputy Sec Gen

ASTANA. April 6. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan can become members of the Customs Union and Single Economic Space. Deputy Secretary General of the Eurasian Economic Community Murat Mussatayev said it during the mining forum MINEX Central Asia 2011 in Astana on Wednesday.
"Two EurAsEC participating states Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan can join the Customs Union. When their economies are ready these countries will also be able to enter the Single Economic Space," he noted.
As reported earlier, Kazakhstan, Russia and Belarus are planning to launch the Single Economic Space at the beginning of 2012.
