Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov met Kazakh FM Murat Nurtleu

Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov received Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Murat Nurtleu, Kazinform News Agency correspondent reports.

According to the press service of the Kyrgyz President, the sides discussed the current issues of further development and deepening of Kyrgyz-Kazakh multifaceted cooperation as well as the activization of trade and economic activity. To his end, the proposal was made to bring together efforts to realize promising projects across many avenues of bilateral cooperation.

The Kyrgyz leader with pleasure noted the high level of cooperation between both counties and stressed that fraternal Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan should have no unresolved issues.

For his part, Kazakh Foreign Minister Nurtleu expressed confidence that the course taken by Kyrgyz President Zhaparov in terms of the country’s economic and institutional development will bring positive results. He highlighted that Kazakhstan closely follows the events in brotherly Kyrgyzstan and fully supports the strategic directions towards the realization of the reforms set.

Concluding the meeting, the interlocutors expressed confidence in further progressive and productive development of bilateral relations for the benefit of the fraternal nations.

Earlier it was reported that Kazakh Foreign Minister Murat Nurtleu arrived in Bishkek for an official visit. He held talks with Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Zheenbek Kulubayev, during which it was announced that Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov is to make an official visit to Kazakhstan.
