Kyrgyz Ombudsman expressed gratitude to Kazakhstan for support to Kyrgyz people

ASTANA. December 23. KAZINFORM Human Rights Commissioner of Kazakhstan Askar Shakirov met with Ombudsman of Kyrgyzstan Tursunbek Akun in Astana. The sides discussed relevant issues of human rights sphere, the press service of the Kazakhstan's Ombudsman informs.
The Kyrgyz Ombudsman was informed about prior policies of the state and priorities of the national human rights institution of ensuring rights and freedoms in Kazakhstan.
The parties expressed their confidence in necessity of strengthening regional and bilateral cooperation in human rights sphere including international programs.
T. Akun expressed gratitude to Kazakhstan for support to Kyrgyz people during its presidency in the OSCE.
