The Fatherland party said its decision to opt out of the coalition was based on the fact that Prime Minister Jantoro Satybaldiyev has "exhausted moral and political resources and can not continue to occupy this high political office."

Under the Kyrgyz Constitution, the collapse of the coalition will automatically lead to the resignation of the government led by the prime minister, and a parliamentary party will be entrusted the mandate to form a new coalition within three days after the coalition leader handed a letter declaring the breakup of the alliance to the president, Xinhua reports. In September 2012, the Fatherland party, the Social Democratic Party of Kyrgyzstan and the Dignity party formed a coalition of the parliamentary majority.
