Kuanyshbaev theatre opens XXIII theatrical season

The season will be opened with a tragedy by M.Auezov “Aday”, and honoured worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan Alimbek Orazbekov is a director producer.

Traditional round table is held today befor the performance. Meeting of theatre actors with spectators - theatergoers, students of universities, colleges and schools - before the start of the new season has already become a good tradition. Today the round table is held on a topic “Theatre and spectator” in honour of the 120th anniversary of Kalibek Kuanyshbaev.

From now on every weekend residents and guests of Astana can attend performances in the Kazakh music and drama theatre named after Kuanyshbaev, a lot of plays of which have been awarded with premia.

So, from 23 to 29 September, Aktobe city hosted the 21st Republican festival of drama theatres in honour of the 90th anniversary of people’s writer of Kazakhstan, playwriter Takhavi Akhtanov, where drama by Sherkhan Murtaza “Bir kem dunie” was nominated as “The best actor ensemble”. Bolat Uzakov is a director producer of it.
