KTZ and Alstom to establish JV on production of electric switch mechanisms

ASTANA. May 3. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ Documents on cooperation in the rail sphere between Kazakhstan and France have been signed in the presence of Prime Minister Karim Massimov within the Iv Astana Economic Forum.
President of Kazakhstan Temir Zholy JSC Askar Mamin and Senior Vice President of Alstom Holding Bernard Gonnet signed a memorandum of cooperation in the sphere of creation of a joint venture in Kazakhstan on production of electric switch mechanisms for the railway field.
According to the documents, the new enterprise will manufacture production using technologies of the French company.
