Krasnoyarsk to host 2019 World Winter Universiade

ASTANA. November 10. KAZINFORM The Executive Committee of the International University Sports Federation (FISU) has approved Krasnoyarsk as the host city of the XXIX World Winter Universiade in 2019, Kazinform was told by Vesti.kz.
In mid September Krasnoyarsk representatives filed in an appeal declaration to host the games and the city's dossier during an official ceremony in FISU's headquarters.
Krasnoyarsk's only rival the Swiss canton Valais has withdrawn its candidature earlier.
NOTE: Almaty was officially announced the host city of the 28th Winter Universiade 2017.
