Kostanay auto industry is booming - governor

Today governor of Kostanay region Nuraly Saduakassov has held a press conference at the KazMedia Center in Astana. During the press conference the governor reported that 900 motor cars were assembled in the region in 2011. Saduakassov praised the pace of development of regional car manufacturing cluster and stressed it was growing robustly. "As for 2012, we assembled around 2,500 cars. We expected that 8,500 vehicles will be assembled by the end of 2014," he added. In his words, Agromashholding, the major regional manufacturing facility, assembles at least 20 models of SsangYong, Peugeot, and Iveco cars. "Geely and JAC car brands will be added to the production range in the nearest future," the governor announced proudly.
