Kokshetau airport reconstructed in line with ICAO standards

ASTANA. September 10. KAZINFORM The project of Kokshetau airport reconstruction that kicked off back in 2010 is about to be over, according to a press release by the Ministry of Transport and Communications.
After the reconstruction process wraps up, the facility is said to meet the international standards and be the 11th airport in the republic conforming with the 1st ICAO category.
The reconstruction is believed to be completed by the end of 2012, the press release reads. A special panel will evaluate whether the building is ready to be officially commissioned and meets up the construction norms and rules.
