Knocked down Bibossynov secures Paris 2024 Olympic Games berth

Kazakh boxer Saken Bibossynov (51kg) secured a quota spot for the Paris 2024 Olympics beating Britain's Kiaran MacDonald in the men’s quarterfinals at the 2024 Boxing 1st World Qualification Tournament in Busto Arsizio, Kazinform News Agency learnt from the National Olympic Committee.
Bibossynov was knocked down in the third round, but showing will he grabbed the lead in the ring to secure the Olympic berth.
As earlier reported, Aibek Oralbay of Kazakhstan also won a ticket to the Paris Olympic Games. Kamshybek Kunkabayev and Karina Ibragimova earned quota spots for the Paris 2024 Olympics at the 19th Asian Games Hangzhou.
