Kids' goods expo opens in Almaty

ALMATY. September 10. KAZINFORM /Yekatetina Ionova/ - the 2nd international exhibition of children goods entitled 'Childhood 2009' kicked off Thursday at Almaty's at Palace of Republic. The exhibition is conducted with support of the Almaty Akimat, Education Ministry of Kazakhstan, the National League of Consumers of Kazakhstan and National Association of Toy Manufacturers of Russia.
A great deal of companies of Kazakhstan, Russia, Ukraine, Lithuania, Germany, China and other near- and far-abroad countries engaged in production, design and sale of children's goods are participating in the event. Delegates of Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan are expected to visit the exhibition.
The exposition presents toys, clothes and footwear, books, CDs, baby food, newborn and future moms' supplies, furniture, hygiene products, and school supplies. The purpose of the exhibition is to promote the market of children's goods and supplies, and to inform the end user of the existing goods in the market. The exhibition will be open till September 12.
