ASTANA. KAZINFORM - HC Barys Astana have jumped up from the 7th to the 6th place in the Eastern Conference of the Kontinental Hockey League after beating HC Amur 5:3 in Khabarovsk, Kazinform has learnt from Vesti.kz.
Andrei Nazarov's side earned 81 points after 56 games in 2014-2015 season. HC Ak Bars top the Eastern Conference with 111 points after 56 matches. Sibir players are three points behind and ranked 2nd in the East. HC Metallurg based in Magnitogorsk are third. Earlier it was reported that Barys will vie against HC Amur in Khabarovsk today, February 16.
