KHL: Barys to face HC Avangard in play-off race

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - The name of HC Barys Astana's rival in the play-off race of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) has been revealed.
The Astana-based club will fight for the 2015 Gagarin Cup against HC Avangard from Omsk. Currently, Avangard sit 4th in the Eastern Conference with 107 points after 59 matches. Barys players are 5th with 90 points. Earlier it was reported that Barys edged out HC Sibir 1:0 in Astana on Sunday (February 22).
