Key National Indexes Group held session in Astana

Work on systematization, generalization and comparative analysis of the foreign experience in conduction of audit of effectiveness and use of the Key National Indicators (KNI) was continued within the session. Experts of the Supreme Audit Institutions of Kazakhstan, Russia, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan discussed opportunities and risks of use of the KNI in the activity of the Supreme Audit Institutions (SAI) of the CIS member states. Besides, auditor of the Account Chamber of Russia Mikhail Piskunov presented results of the second session of the International Organization of the Supreme Audit Institutions (INTOSAI) on the key national indexes that was held in April in Beijing. Results of the survey, held in accordance with preparation of project ?Methodical recommendations on organization and conduction of audit of effectiveness and use of the Key National Indexes? were discussed as well.
