Kenya likely to make direct tea supplies to Kazakhstan

ASTANA. KAZINFORM "Kenya is considering ways to make direct tea supplies to Kazakhstan," Cabinet Secretary for Foreign Affairs and International Trade of Kenya Amina Mohamed said while having talks with Kazakh Ambassador to Egypt Berik Aryn.

The Kenyan minister expressed interest of Nairobi in deepening and broadening bilateral cooperation with Astana. According to her, the countries have a great potential to increase bilateral sales that stood at USD 73 mln last year, including through establishing direct supplies of Kenyan tea, the Kazakh MFA's press release reads. To this end Kenya plans to send a delegation to explore Kazakhstan's market and tune up direct contacts with the country's business circles.
