KEGOC, EBRD to sign USD 156 mln loan agr't May 21 - Company President A. Satkaliyev

ASTANA. May 19. KAZINFORM /Askar Bimendin/ JSC KEGOC has been successfully cooperating with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. President of Kazakhstan Electricity Grid Operating Company (KEGOC) Almasadam Satkaliyev has said it at the presentation of the EBRD Report on activity in sustainable development in 2010 in Astana today.
Besides, A. Satkaliyev noted that the Company would receive a USD 156 mln loan for development within cooperation with the EBRD.
"Our experience in cooperation with the EBRD is very successful: we have a loan portfolio amounting to USD 600 mln. On Saturday, May 21, we will enter into a USD 156 mln loan agreement, due to which the national power grid will be provided with the up-to-date equipment and technologies from the world famous producers", he stressed.
