KBZF builds mosque in Kazakhstan

ASTANA. July 28. KAZINFORM The Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation (KBZF) is building "Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Mosque" in Shymkent, the capital city of South Kazakhstan Province with a capacity to accommodate more than 3500 people.

It has a built-up area of four thousand square meters and 270 square meters is reserved for women's prayer hall. More than half of the construction work of the mosque is completed.

The mosque is designed on the model of Islamic architecture and will be considered the largest mosques in Kazakhstan after its launch, it includes four minarets, each rising up to 31 meters, in addition to a large dome, rising up to 37 meters, toilets, places to perform Ablution (wudu)', residence of the Imam, public library and a parking lot that accommodates 120 cars.

It should be mentioned that the total area of the site of the mosque is about six thousand and 500 square meters, Kazinform refers to WAM.
