KazSat-3 satellite planned to be launched in 2013 - Talgat Musabayev

TANA. September 19. KAZINFORM /Askar Bimendin/ Launch of a KazSat-3 satellite is planned in 2013. The main development contractor of the spacecraft is the Russian company. Chairman of the National Space Agency of Kazakhstan Talgat Musabayev has announced it at the Governmental Hour in the Kazakh Majilis.
"Russia's JSC "Academician Reshetnev «Information Satellite Systems" and our JSC "Republican center for space communication" signed a treaty on creation of the third communications spacecraft at the international Paris Air Show Le Bourget on June 20, 2011," T.Musabayev said.
According to him, the satellite launch is planned to be implemented in 2013.
