«KazSat-3» satellite launch date approved by Kazakh Government

On the basis of the agreement between the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Government of the Russian Federation for the submission and receipt of the final statement on spacecraft and test rockets launch plans dated November 18, 1999, the Government of Kazakhstan, by the decree № 1412 of December 27, 2013, has adopted a final statement of launch plans for spacecraft and test missile from the Baikonur cosmodrome in 2014, the press service of Kazkosmos reports.

According to the decree, the use of "Proton-M"carrier rocket for space launches in 2014 to be agreed with the Kazakh side on condition that the Russian side will launch Kazakh stan's communications and broadcasting satellite named "KazSat-3" not later than on April 30, 2014.
