KazSat 2 to reach targeted orbit in 10 hours after the launch

BAIKONUR SPACE PORT. July 16. KAZINFORM /Sara Kabikyzy/ As earlier reported, Proton-M/Breeze-M launch vehicle with Kazsat-2 and SES-3 (OS-2) satellites successfully lifted off today at 05.16 by Astana time from Baikonur space centre.
Kazakh PM Karim Massimov, Head of Kazkosmos Talgat Mussabayev, a large Kazakh delegation arrived there to witness the Proton-M launch.
Karim Massimov congratulated the heads of Kazakh and Russian space departments on successful start of the launch vehicle.
According to the experts, Kazakhstan's satellite take-off is expected at 14:56 by Astana time.
