KazSat-2 arrives at Baikonur

BAIKONYR. May 30. KAZINFORM /Sara Kabikyzy/ A cargo plane carrying KazSat-2 spacecraft is expected at the Baikonur Cosmodrome today, Kazinform has learnt from the National Space Agency of Kazakhstan.
On May 26 the Chief Engineers' Council held a meeting to consider the readiness of the spacecraft KazSat-2, ground control complex and communication monitoring system for the flight test and sending a spacecraft to the launch site. It was decided to send KazSat-2 to the Baikonur Cosmodrome on May 30, 2011.
The second Kazakh satellite will be paired with American SES-3 satellite. Both satellites will be put into orbit by Proton-M rocket on July 10, 2011.
