Kazpost launches new postal channel E-Packet CAINIAO in Kazakhstan
Оn July 19, a festive ceremony was held at the international logistics park ‘Dry Port Khorgos’ to mark the launch of the E-Packet CAINIAO postal channel in Kazakhstan, Kazinform has learnt from the company’s press service.

ePacket Plus is an advanced logistics service specifically designed for tracking and delivering parcels from Chinese trading platforms to Kazakhstan. This service adheres to modern logistics standards and is aimed at growing e-commerce market between the two countries.
In the past, all parcels were delivered to Kazakhstan via intermediate countries. From now on, parcels will be delivered directly to Kazakhstan, significantly reducing delivery time and improving service quality for customers. This became possible thanks to hard work and fruitful collaboration, including efforts from Cainiao, aimed at reducing delivery times and enhancing service for consumers.
ePacket Plus is intended for leading e-commerce platforms and is available to a wide range of users. Parcels sent through this service are delivered to post offices and automated postal machines throughout Kazakhstan, ensuring maximum convenience for recipients.
Goods from Chinese marketplaces, delivered through ePacket Plus, can be transported by both air and ground, significantly speeding up the delivery process and providing real-time tracking capability. In the future, there are plans to increase the maximum weight of parcels to 20 kg, allowing for a wider range of products available to Kazakhstani buyers and improving conditions for businesses.
“We take pride in the fact that, together with our partners, Kazpost JSC is becoming a full-fledged participant in the cross-border e-commerce market. All our efforts are directed toward supporting our consumers and providing them access to the extensive opportunities offered by global marketplaces,” Managing Director for International Business at Kazpost JSC Semyon Pak noted.
“The launch of the E-Packet CAINIAO postal channel in Kazakhstan is important for us and our partners. We are confident that our collaboration with Kazpost JSC will significantly enhance opportunities for Kazakhstani consumers and businesses. Our focus is on providing high-quality logistics services and efficient delivery, which will serve as the foundation for further development of e-commerce between China and Kazakhstan,” General Manager for the CIS region at Cainiao Group, Wang Zheng, emphasized.
Sun Xian, the CEO of the international logistics company Khorgos, mentioned that 'opening this channel can improve customs efficiency, reduce operational costs for e-commerce enterprises in China and Kazakhstan, and provide a stable and convenient logistics channel'.
It’s worth noting that previously, Kazpost JSC and China Postal Express & Logistics Co. LTD, the postal operator of the People’s Republic of China, inked an agreement aimed at improving delivery conditions between the two countries through the ePacket Plus service. The postal operators of both countries reached a historic agreement to reduce tariffs for delivery services.
