«Kazphosphate» launches new sulfuric acid production plant in Zhambyl rgn

New factory, which cost KZT 14 billion with capacity of 600 thousand tons per year, will employ about five hundred people.

In addition, the plant will be provided with its own electricity. According to Mukash Iskandirov, General Director of "Kazphosphate", on the basis of the new sulfuric acid plant there will be generated 24 megawatts of power.

Head of ''Kazphosphate'' stressed that the project of industrial innovation program had been implemented as part of the President's instruction for development of chemical industry in Kazakhstan.

"Kazphosphate" Ltd, a city-forming company, is a major producer of 20 kinds of chemical products. The company employs six thousand people. "Kazphosphate" enterprises, that send their outturns to 30 countries, create value chain from ore extraction and processing to the production of industrial phosphates and fertilizers.
