KazMunaiGas voted the best employer in 2012 - poll

ASTANA. March 27. KAZINFORM JSC National Company "KazMunaiGas" was named "The Best Employer-2012" according to the results of a recent poll among students of Kazakhstani universities. The results of the poll were announced at the VIII International conference on HR management in Astana, the company's press service says.

The poll was carried out by TNS GALLUP MEDIA ASIA for CareerView among 14 top-ranking universities of Kazakhstan in order to find the best employers for students in financial, oil and gas and medical sectors. It is worth mentioning that the respondents were free to name any recruiter who they thought deserves the credit of being tagged 'the best employer of the year' and considered as their future workplace.

Among other factors that determined the students' choice were promotion opportunities, stability, high salaries, good working environment, etc. Oil and gas industry (39%), government agencies (38%) and banks (26%) were voted as the most attractive sectors to work in. Construction industry surprisingly allured only 2% of respondents.
