KazMunaiGas certified its subsidiaries with international standards

ASTANA. May 22. KAZINFORM - A number of companies of "KazMunaiGas" (KMG) among the first in the country in 2006 underwent certification for compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 standards by implementing an integrated management system, the press service of the company reports.

As part of the effective application of these standards in the company it has become a tradition to hold round-table discussions on topical issues of integrated management systems. Another similar event was held in Almaty with the private institution named "Samruk-Kazyna" Corporate University.

Participants of the meeting were 23 employees of 19 subsidiaries and affiliates of KMG. Also invited have been international and Kazakh experts in the field of standardization, including those of the consulting organizations as "Intercertifica TUF», BSI, "Corporation Triumph», «ARG group» and «Center System Technology", Kazakh Corporation of quality" and others.

Special attention has been paid to discussion of introducing energy management system according to ISO 50001 standards, improving functioning of integrated management systems, corporate social responsibility, business process monitoring through key performance indicators (KPI), a system of accreditation and recognition of international certificates, and review of innovations in international standards.

The participants of the meeting expressed their appreciation of the debate.
