Kazkosmos, ESA signed agreement on use of Euro standards in space activity

ASTANA. August 6. KAZINFORM /Sara Kabikyzy/ National Space Agency of Kazakhstan and European Space Agency have entered into agreement on application of European standards ECSS in space development projects of Kazakhstan.
From the Kazakh side the document by the Chairman of the Agency Talgat Mussabayev and President of Kazakhstan Garysh Sapary JSC Gabdullatif Murzakulov. From the European side the agreement was signed by Executive Secretary of the European Cooperation for Space Standardization (ECSS) Luciano Balestra and representative of the ESA J. Bosma.
In conformity with the Agreement, Kazkosmos gains a right for a free-of-charge use, citing, translation of the ECSS standards and full or partial introduction of their requirements into the Kazakhstan standards of space activity.
