Kazinform won “Best Media Agency” title in contests of KazNU

ATY. October 15. KAZINFORM /Yekaterina Ionova/ Awarding ceremony of winners of the open contest among journalists and mass media "KazNU - national leader of science and education" devoted to the 75 anniversary of the university has been held in Almaty Thursday.

"Kazinform" National Information Agency won in the category "Best information agency". Rector of the university Bakhytzhan Zhumagulov presented a medal, diploma and a cash prize to head of the Almaty correspondent bureau Sara Mustafina. Journalist Aigul Turysbekova was awarded a medal and diploma of the Kazakh Academy of Journalism for full coverage of the anniversary of the university.

"31 channel", "KTK" "Almaty", "Kazakhstan", "Habar" Agency" JSC, "7 channel", "Caspionet", personnels and journalists of "Turkestan", "Country and the world", "Priuralye", «International Journalism Network for week» (Washington), "Central Asia Monitor", "Tengri", Sovetnik" (Russia) and other newspapers, magazines and TV channels were awarded diplomas and prizes as well.
