Kazinform General Director D. Dyarov: Minsk is a great place to share expert opinion on mass media
The head of the international information agency from Kazakhstan is taking part in the 9th edition of the Belarusian international media forum "Partnership for the Future: the Global World Realities" that is taking place in Minsk on 9 June.
"As I lead an information agency, I find it useful to meet new people. Interesting experts come to the media forum ever year. Together we discuss new trends in mass media, among other things," Dauren Diyarov said.
This year the participants of the forum will pay special attention to the 70th anniversary of Belarus' liberation from the Nazi invaders. They will also discuss challenges and threats of the 21st century and the role of the international community in preventing conflicts and wars. In this regard, the Kazinform head noted that the topic of the Second World War is relevant for all the countries that made a contribution to the Great Victory. "Although there were no hostilities on the territory of Kazakhstan, we also contributed to the victory together with our brotherly nations," he said.
Dauren Diyarov noted that Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko laid a time capsule at the Trostenets Memorial on 8 June. "Although several decades have passed since the Second World War, the fight with the Nazi remains a much-discussed topic," he said.
