Kazhydromet releases Saturday weather forecast
A northwestern cyclone will sweep across Kazakhstan, bringing rain and thunderstorms on May 9, Qazinform News Agency cites Kazhydromet Weather Service.
Heavy rainfall, hail, and squall conditions are projected for the western, southwestern, northwestern, and northern regions of the country.
The wind will strengthen throughout the country. Patchy fog is predicted for the overnight and morning hours. Besides, the southern regions will see dust storms.

A high risk of fire is anticipated across the Kyzylorda, Karaganda, Ulytau, Abai, Zhetisu, Pavlodar, Turkistan, Zhamby, Almaty, Aktobe, Akmola, North Kazakhstan, and East Kazakhstan regions. Moreover, an extreme fire hazard is expected in the north and east parts of the East Kazakhstan region and the south of the Abai region, and the southeast and south of the Zhetisu region.
